Does Anyone Still Read TechCrunch?
Yes, I do. But I have to admit that Arrington is beginning to sound like a jilted lover or something with his constant jabs at Twitter. Come on Michael, let it go buddy. It was one night, you were drunk, I’m sure Twitter doesn’t think any less of you.
TechCrunch directs some shockingly snarky questions at Twitter. Twitter responds in a very calm, radically transparent way, and TechCrunch appends this to their post:
Update: Twitter continues to be annoyingly and constructively responsive to criticism. They respond to this post here, saying “We’re working on a better architecture.” Kind of takes the air out of the balloon when you can’t get them riled up.
I am stunned by the lack of professionalism in that statement, no matter how tongue-in-cheek it may be. For a blog as supposedly influential as TechCrunch is, acting like a petulant middle-schooler who didn’t get the reaction he was looking for is absurd.
With dubious posts and childish reactions like this one, why does anyone still read TechCrunch?
